Re: New Sales

I too will miss further development of this incredible software. It really does everything I want, and I wish I would have discovered it 4 years ago instead of 4 months ago. Despite that, I am continuing to import information for a very large video collection. One wish list item I have would love to...

Re: Videos lost all their tags

Update: File-based tags are still lost, but auto-generated thumbnails are back after a restart or two and total storage size is back to normal. Going forward, I'll just stick to folder-based scraping and tagging of movies. Hoping to get through all my movies while the scrapers still work (fingers cr...

Re: Videos lost all their tags

Is there any way for me to try to use a previous version of EZFP?

I wouldn't mind trying to rollback to the last version that was working (before I lost the file-based tags) - v4.8.2?

Re: Videos lost all their tags

I appreciate the update, but I'm starting to think it had more to do with the fact that EZFP lost track of the mapped network drive. I'm still having to refresh within every folder for it to recognize the video. Any folder that I hadn't gotten around to scraping, now is just a folder icon- which use...

Re: Videos lost all their tags

1. Do you have any filters on in the video view such as the new "Show videos with assigned tags"? 1.No. Not that I'm aware of. To be honest, I'm not even sure I know how to apply that filter. Did you create any file exclusions which would remove those files? 2.No. It wasn't really somethi...

Re: Videos lost all their tags

I'm actually having the same problem. After the most recent update, I'm having to refresh each folder to get it to see the video file. After I refresh, the thumbnail appears, but the details, tags, and media art have disappeared for the individual file. I was mainly using the folder-based tags and t...

IAFD folder-based info scrape vs IAFD file-based info scrape Question

Hello, Hoping that this question is OK since I don't see the 'Development has ceased' post any longer, so thanks in advance for any help. There seem to be some differences in the information that gets returned when downloading information via IAFD for a folder versus that of an individual video file...

Re: re: Mutli-files Movies Represented as a Singular Database Entry (Warning: Long Read)

Thank you for adding this feature in the latest update- bought another license in gratitude for your efforts. It seems to work well in my initial tests. Just a few followup questions/comments: 1) In search results based on cast (or really any tag), is there a way for them to show up as folders inste...

Re: re: Mutli-files Movies Represented as a Singular Database Entry (Warning: Long Read)

Thanks for the comments and engaging me further- I tried some of the things you mentioned with limited success, but will continue familiarizing myself with the software going forward. You can assign cast/tags at the folder level so technically, you don't have to download info at all, just assign the...

Re: re: Mutli-files Movies Represented as a Singular Database Entry (Warning: Long Read)

Hello, thanks for taking the time to consider my question. The reason why I want to have the folder view returned after a search has to do mainly with how cast info and metadata is currently added as tags to individual video files instead of being able to associate that metadata with the entire cont...
